I love this book. It is perfect for those like me who hate to exercise, but know it is something you should do. The book contains exercises as short as 10, that is ten minutes. I did as instructed and in 10 days, those closest to me could see a difference. I plan to try some of the other ones soon.The icing on the cake is the book's size. It is easy to travel to with as it takes up less space than a pair of pumps. There is no longer a reason to skip exercising.

The book is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, about 5 inches long... but I really like it for all the work outs. There are a ton of work outs, all different types. I can't wait to try them all. The eating tips were mostly stuff I already knew though. If you are looking for workouts to try, definitely get this.

I had been pinning for this book forever. When it went on sale I grabbed and hoped for the best. This book,despite its small size, is defintely full with new and fun work-outs. I shared it with any friends interested in working-out but didn't where to start. I love the fitness and health tips offered and would recommended to any looking for easy and fun approach to leaving healthy.

My daughter is a teenager who is always worried about how she eats and fitness. She saw this book advertised in Seventeen Magazine. It's been over a year since receiving this product and she still uses it. It's a small, 'fat' book filled with truely "500 Health & Fitness Tips".

My girlfriend bought this and was very displeased with it. The book is about the size of notecards and it just goes over anything that was in the magazine. So if you already get the seventeen magazine, she would say to pass on this purchase because you probably already know everything that's in it.

smaller than anticpated, I bought this knowing FULL well that it was just the fitness sections of previous issues of the magazine, that is what I was looking for and what I wanted, I got that. It's probably half the size of a romance novel. I have checked out other books by seventeen at my local library and they were all the size of a box of cheese nips, I'm dissapointed, but at least I got what I wanted

It's a small but pretty thick book. Each page tells one workout each. It's really helpful, many different types of workout, for slim legs or all over bikini workout. Has tips on food towards the end. I really like it and its small enough to fit in a small purse.I would recommend this item to any body who was a quick workout.

This book had TONS of great tips! there were at least 100 different exersizes and i found them to work very well! i would definatly recommend this book to someone looking for a good workout!

It’s all about visualization to Luis, “the power of creating a story.”We are particularly good at this skill when we are children; we become “creative story tellers.”He brings about the understanding of how our forefathers would transfer knowledge their sharing stories. Luis seems to imply that various points in the brain are activated when we are taking in a story.Its frustrating to hear his perspective of the subconscious mind vs. the unconscious. As your conscious mind becomes the gatekeeper to the subconscious.I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone, definitely worth every penny.

Worked great for me! Depends on what you're expecting from it... if you're looking for a complete guide/list/dictionary type of book, this probably won't be for you. Medical terms are based on prefixes, suffixes, root words and abbreviations. The author gives a couple memory techniques and follows up with EXAMPLES of his versions. There are many terms with definitions included but don't expect a full list.How it worked for me: used his technique to create my own (what it teaches you to do) and it was freakin amazing!!! I was also able to build off of the concepts & apply it to other more complex areas of study. I'm incredibly impressed with my results 😁 Hope this helps!

The author gives an intro that has an extremely good method for memorizing unfamiliar or random sets of items.But, past that, the list of mnemonics, specifically for medical nouns, functions, descriptors, is a) not the set of mnemonics and mnemonic acronyms common to medical professions (not, e.g. a list such as RICE- Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation, for sprains)The list of mnemonics for memorizing, e.g. medical term prefixes, is SO colorful, near arbitrary and so divorced from the use and meaning of the term one is trying to memorize, that it is a counterproductive distraction FROM memorizing the terms.(Infra- below. Picture an infrared cat, under a table. This is the mnemonic for memorizing structures below the temporal cranium. There is so arbitrary a correlation between anatomical structures below the temporal cranium, and an an infra-red cat under a table that by the time you've memorized the bizarre mnemonic, remembering the actual term, much less structure or function, or role in medical diagnosis or treatment is lost)Actually just learning common Greek and Latin roots, and anatomical location terms (supra, saggital, posterior...), and using traditional medical mnemonics is a much much better way to memorize, and also to retain the medical sense of the material, rather than memorizing sheer random term-recall mnemonics)I would not wish to be treated by any medical professional who used this book as a medical study guide.That said, the introductory techniques are great for memorizing objects who's meaning or use is not of any direct functionality- eg, the technique is great for memorizing, say, names, or or unrelated sets of objects.

I am using these methods now and will be using them in my classroom to help my students to succeed. It seems easy to follow and has excellent tips on how to master the terminology.

I learned so much from this book. It was by far the most helpful medical terms book that I have gone through because of the various visual examples that Luis Angel presents here. The mnemonic triggers helped me learn the terms in a fraction of the time that it would have normally taken me.

Obviously, this is not a good substitution for a medical terminology book. If you are taking a class, buy an actual medical terminology book; this is just a complement to remember hard prefixes, suffixes, and root words. Overall an OK buy as long as you don't expect it to be thorough.
