Disappointed. No Index. Chapters are not separated with a new page they just run on from last chapter and there is no information at top of page to tell you where you are. It is maddening. Wish i had looked at closer when it first arrived bc i would have returned. also when it says "12 steps" are included ... I don't really know what that means. I was expecting the 12 steps from 12 & 12. Not the twelves steps that are organically included within the AA Book.
I knew nothing about AA before reading this book for a Graduate class. It is informative and helps you walk through addiction with your clients.
We work with a lot of AA people, as well as others hooked on drugs, to help them overcome their afflictions, so naturally we want to use this incredible reference along with the Bible on which it is largely based.
AA helped me very much in reaching sustainable sobriety. The big book has several notes of advice and guidance that can be applied to numerous applications in life that reach far beyond staying sober. Physical, Mental and emotional sobriety are some of the gifts I received in reading this book.
Clear print. Easy read, not to easy to practice the art of the 12 steps, but a good guide to sobriety. Be a friend of Bill.

No table of context.....no index. Chapter mumerations repeat themselves. Easy read but I was lost.
